Chairman Visits Pentecost Hospital-Tarkwa

The Chairman of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Eric Kwabena Nyamekye, has paid a visit to the Pentecost Clinic at Tarkwa to acquaint himself with the operations of the facility.

The visit to the 30-bed facility formed part of the activities the Chairman undertook during his maiden working visit to the Western Region.

Chairman Nyamekye was met on arrival by the General Manager of the clinic, Overseer Dr Suleman De-Graft Issaka, and members of the Internal Management Team (IMT).

The General Manager expressed their gratitude to the Chairman for making time out of his tight schedule to visit the clinic.

Dr De-Graft Issaka took the Chairman and his team, including Apostle Joseph K. Assabil (Takoradi Area Head and Chairman of the Western Regional Coordinating Committee), Apostle John Appiah Aidoo (Tarkwa Area Head) and Pastor Kofi Atakorah (Tarkwa Area Secretary), round the facility.

Addressing a section of the staff after the tour, the Chairman commended them for the good work they are doing to provide quality healthcare at the facility.

He reiterated that, rendering healthcare services is a fulfilment of Christ’s healing ministry, and that as they come into contact with patients, they must make effort to possess the nations in conformity with the Church’s Vision 2023.

Apostle Eric Nyamekye assured the staff of the Church’s unflinching support to the clinic to become a centre of excellence.

The Church of Pentecost Clinic at Tarkwa started as a mobile clinic in 1984. It became a static clinic in August 2005. Currently, it has employed 98 staff.
