Made in Abyss' Sequel Announced

At the "Deep in Abyss" talk show event on Sunday, a sequel of the Made in Abyss TV anime series was announced. Toshiyuki Morikawa (JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken: Diamond wa Kudakenai) will join the cast as the new character Bondrewd. Made in Abyss adapts the adventure fantasy manga by Akihito Tsukushi that has been serialized in Web Comic Gamma since October 2012, which currently has six compiled volumes in print. Produced by Kinema Citrus, the anime aired in Summer 2017 for 13 episodes. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga for North American release, and plans the publish the first volume on January 2, 2018. Announcement PV Source: Moca News
