This is a birthday gift I drew for someone who has introduced me to a lot of great anime shows/movies! I modified the characters a bit to resemble more of my friend and their partner. I took inspiration from several different fanarts/scenes from the anime movie and incorporated the different elements that I liked including a lens distortion effect to make the sky feel grander and the pose of the characters. I added some progress pictures to show the steps I took to finish this art piece. This took about a day for me to complete, including the brainstorming and researching.
