THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Man the transition from Oden sending off the Akazaya to the present was fucking well done. Was also great to see the Ryo animation special effect again from the same animator that did the scene when Luffy awakened it in Udon. And did Big Mom really stomp that poor NPC? 😭 Talk about the start of a wholesome alliance. I would protest. Then we had a few more anime original additions/extension of scenes. I would almost say this episode was more anime original than manga adaptation xD At least it gave off that feeling considering how it highlighted scenes that simply went unnoticed in the manga. Yamato vs Ulti in particular. Elephant Gun clash against Big Mom was entirely original. The fact that they stretched the episode with these scenes and other stuff like Law entering with his top 3 fueled my hopes for episode 1000. But it's gonna be difficult to pad the next 3 episodes @Ayu_01. Kinemon and Luffy declaration at the end was absolute 🔥 Even if not much was adapted, it was nonetheless an enjoyable episode. And lol, I knew I had seen the Zeus part before
