Shaymin is a mythical Grass-type Pokémon species originally from the region of Sinnoh. Members of this species can shift between two different forms: the small, timid Grass-type land forme, and the adventurous Grass/Flying-type sky forme, the second of which is activated when Shaymin is in contact with the pollen of the Gracidea flower.
