Super Star, Newer Super Mario Bros. Wiki

Super Stars are iconic powerups which appear in all of the Newer Super Mario Bros. games. They appear uncommonly throughout the games, appearing around once or twice per level. Super Stars move in a constant direction until being consumed, but unlike Super Mushroom, they will bounce constantly. When one is consumed, it will grant the user invincibility for ten seconds, allowing the ability to kill any enemies that touch him/her with the possibility of gaining 1-Ups if the user hits enough enemie
