VNEA Pattern racking 8-ball

Ok I've been looking in the VNEA rules right on their page and doesn't mention anything about Pattern racking so is it allowed? I see as long as the 2 wing balls are opposites and 8 is on its spot

This 8 ball rack is made of solid Oak. It is rounded at the edges and looks good on any table!
