Variants are new versions of certain Drivers. There are new variants in every tour. Since the Mii Tour there have been Mii variants introduced in waves. Each Mii has a special skill. The wave 1 Miis have Items identical to their Super Driver form. There are 24 Mario variants (including Baby Mario and Mii variants) with Cat Mario approaching in the Cat Tour (2022).
